Hi Guys,
You are almost on top of the beach so no worries. As you come out of the appts., cross the road where the church is and take the track that runs alongside it , next to the hotel to the beach; no more than a minutes walk! The beach is superb with the best sunlongers I've ever used. If you like it a bit quieter, move along to the right hand side of the beach where there is a small rocky headland and provides some superb snorkeling over the reefs if you like that sort of thing. You can climb over the headland to a smaller deserted beach if you prefer.
I also recommend Avli's Taverna which is rightby you; plani simple Greek lamb dishes cooked superbly. Try the lamb shanks, shallots and potatoes. They cook it slowly from early afternoon ready for the evening and it just melts in the mouth. _________________ A bad day on the beach is better than a good day in the office! |

Don't rub it in, may not be able to get there myself this year as our daughter is graduating from Uni in July and we've just become grandparents for the first time with our eldest daughter and I'm starting a new job in August but will trym to get a last minute in September, so make sure you leave me enough Mythos lagers!. _________________ A bad day on the beach is better than a good day in the office! |

| we ate at the Pegasus last week for the first time since it opened as friends said try it and I'm afraid the meal I had was tasteless and not patch on the Avli, and certainly no where near Plantanas or Green Park or Jimmys, won't eat there again i'm afraid, but then each to their own. |
