I have just booked mine for next year, but did you have any problems sorting out your wedding date? How many working days do you need to be there?

| yeah loads of problems with the date as they can not confirm till we get there. you have to be there for 8 days and the day you get there does not count as day 1 . but hopefully we will be getting married on the 25th june 09 |

| not to sure on reception yet got a few places in mind. still waiting on final numbers coming as it keeps changing so just going to decide when we get there and just ask around to see what deals we can get as we know a few people on the island so see what they can do for us. |

Do you know if saturday and sunday count in the eight days you have to be in Skiathos?

Congratulations to you both 
You will both have to keep us up to date on your plans and how it all goes.
Me and my partner have just got engaged and I would love to get married on Skiathos (we were there about 5 years ago and I loved it). We like Greece alot so geting married in Greece would mean far more to me than doing it in the UK.
Just trying to work out rough costs etc, it is deffo my first choice  |

Hi Claire, getting married in Greece costs a lot less that doing it in the uk
We spent around £5000 compared to the £20,000 one of our freinds spent in the uk

keep in mind that you need to be in skiathos 8 days before you can get married. In regards to the wedding date, we at "Skiathos Weddings" have honored the requested dates for all couples (see our site at weddings.kanapitsa.com) for more details |
