| We'e been to see the film this afternoon and we both loved every bit of it. We would love to see it with a good crowd there though. This afternoon was pensioners only I think. We laughed a lot and the songs were wonderful. Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan did a great job singing but I think he is a hunk anyway. We came out saying we will definitely go again. |

I really dislike Abba but enjoyed the film - at least it adds meaning to the to songs that aren't actually very good!
I thought the performances by the main characters were great - it was very well directed - knowing the islands well it really encapsulated the atmosphere - you could almost smell the pine! |

| You are right russrec, the film does add meaning to Abba's songs. I have Abba Gold greatest hits and have it playing on my PC as I am typing this and loaded on to my PC now. I just can't stop singing them. Sad or what? |

Open air theatre was a joy to behold everything we expected and more from the unspoilt skiathos, (hope the tourists stay away after watching the film selfish arnt we)
seriously A Must See Film

| Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!! I didn't tell the other half it was musical until we were at the cinema (he doesn't do musicals) but evenhe thought it was a great film and couldn't control the laughter. We are now hoping it will still be on so we can see it in the open air cinema in Skiathos when we go in August.. What better place could there be to enjoy the fun! |

Watched it last night, 6.20 pm showing, the cinema was packed, only problem was it seemed like 500 women and half a dozen blokes in the audience
Despite the stacked odds, we really enjoyed the film, and to be very honest, after the first 15 minutes we had ceased looking for the Skiathos connection and got on with enjoying the fabulous performance. |

Went to see the film last night....one of those feel good films, great film ....BUT BE WARNED.....Don't be tempted to leave when the credits start to roll at the end you will miss one of the funniest scenes in the film. Off to Skiathos in 6 weeks _________________ We started with nothing and we have most of it left. |

| We went last night it was fantastic, they were dancing in the aisles and the cinema was absolutely packed which for a Thursday evening was strange. It was so funny, Meryl Streep deserves an oscar! Best film we've seen for ages. |
