Hi my partner and i will be travelling to Skiathos August 29th untill September 14th could anyone please inform me what the evening temperatures will be like at that time, nothing worse than being hot and sticky when trying to get some sleep.Or will it have cooled down in the evening a wee bit by then. Also could anyone tell me what time it starts to get dark in the evenings at that time of year, Cheers.

It can be baking or cool and I experienced both the same fortnight last year!

Us womenfolks don't like our shoulders to be cold so cardis can be useful - I'm nesh by the way.

Still I know it's not cool like here so go and enjoy!

The very high temperatures have usually gone by then, that is why we, (almost), always go in September. Sue is right though, with weather, you can never be sure. My wife quite often feels a little cool in the evenings and takes a jumper or similar.

You are there for quite a while so sunset will change. Depending on where you are, the sun will have dipped below the hills 18:30 and sets 19:00'ish. Once set, it gets dark quite quickly.
