Hello - I was about to post asking for reviews for the Babis Hotel/Pension too.
I have just paid the deposit for a 3-bed apartment from 25th July-1st August. It is positioned on Agios Nikolaos Hill with views of the harbour - is this a good location?
The owner has been more than friendly, holding the room for us until we had money to pay the deposit and offered us transfers from airport and port.

I stayed in the Babis Hotel/Pension on 25th July for a week and I have to say it was fantastic.
We were positioned up a steep hill, which sometimes was extremely tiring to climb (not for the un-fit) but it was definitely worth it for the view over the old harbour, spectacular!
The apartment itself was great, we had a 3 bed room on the top floor so had our own part of the balcony with a table and 2 chairs and also was next to the huge shared balcony which had an array of seating all facing in the direction of the harbour. There was also a bbq which you could make good use of.
In the apartment there was a kitchen, complete with a fride, air conditioning, a tv, table, dressing table and a wardrobe. The bathroom was adequate although less could be said for the tempremental shower - the only downside.
The owners were fantastic, so friendly. Our rooms were cleaned every day, with not only beds been made but clothes and shoes tidied up (we were 3 girls) and dishes washed!
I will definitely be staying here again. |
