Leave on Tuesday for a weeks bliss...

Only booked last week,certainly looks like we were lucky,just had another look at flight available for this week out of Manchester,

Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday.......all now showing no availabilty !

I think many people are like us two, and that fed up of the wet summer and the doom and gloom we have thrust upon on a daily basis,and thought ...what the heck,the budget will stretch to a last minute sunshine break... so why not... Smile

Well only a few hours to go

we are trying to get on standby on the 7.00am flight, failing that we will try the 13.40 flight and failing that, its going to be a flight down to heathrow and then the 20.55 athens flight and a bus and boat to skiathos (having a husband who works for an airline comes in very handy!!) so any way its going to be a very long day

No more sleeps left..the wait is over.....away we go to catch the 1.40pm First Choice from Manchester, arriving Skiathos 7.30pm Hermes apartments 8.00pm unpacked 8.30.....sat eating with a very large Mataxa 9.00 pm......................Foxy....hope your millions spent this week do well for you on Saturday.

It has been a bit touch-and-go whether or not we would be able to go at all because we had to go to England for a funeral. But we are back home, and are now happily able to say "1 sleep before we leave". That is only a half really as we have to leave at 03:00 or some other equally daft time in the middle of the night to get to the airport.
