I'll forgive you for that - after all it is our first time in Europe, so no one's used to us being there! That's why I'd like to try & see this game if I can manage it, especially while I'm away.
Thanks also to everyone else for your suggestions. I'm sure that given these I can manage to find somewhere to see both the match & F1 (also a first being a night race).

| Check out the Christakis, he shows all the sport, he invested 24,000 euros in a satelite dish the size you will not believe!!! He can get Sky and Setanta (like most places on the island) but because of the big dish he can also get BBC, ITV, CH5 etc. I am slightly biased because he's a good mate and I used to work there, however if it's sport you're after the Christakis is the best place to watch it. |

Thanks again - think I may end up spending a fair bit of time there, in particular on 2 Oct (my last night!) especially after tonight!

Both are in town. Albatros is about halfway up the main Street and the king and queen is in one of the back streets near the harbour ( behind the roof top bar. And to find that just look up when you are at the old harbour) also when you lane at Skiathos airport pick up one of the fantastic free maps, they will help you a lot when going round town
. I think both bars are shown on it as well. _________________ Member of the "I got married in Skiathos" club

Thanks for that. I'm hoping to get the bus into town at least once, so will try & check those out, along with Christakis, which seems to come well recommended, and is near to where I'm staying.
I'll also remember to get a map as that will come in handy! |
