We do too, off to our little bungalow in Spain in November. But would still prefer to be going to Skiathos

5 more sleeps to go! (although my holiday starts on Thursday as staying at a hotel in Crawley that night, am not counting that!)

Not quite at the panicking stage, but starting to get ever so slightly stressed at how much I've still got to do (both at home and work)!

I know it'll be worth it when I get there though - just hope weather picks up from what it has been, and the forecast is saying!

Smile

karenp I hope the weather improves for you and you and yours have a great time. I would still rather be on Skiathos in the rain than the UK in the sun. Enjoy yourselves.

I keep checking the forecasts but they all say something different! Just got everything crossed that it picks up! I think when I start packing I'll have to try & cover every eventuality!

Yes I'm sure it'll still be lovely, but no doubt even nicer when it's sunny?!

I'm going on my own, so no-one to answer to! Also looking forward to exploring/wandering about, and hopefully get chatting to folk.

Oddly, when the weather is bad, it is easier to fall into conversation with others sheltering in the same spot.

Yesterday morning, when we left, it was cold and raining still. Has been raining more or less continuously since Friday, (19th), night. Never seen anything like it before.
