|
|
Hi everybody.
Not been on for a while! However, should be arriving( if I can get up) in Skiathos next wednesday. Staying at the Hermes and our 2 grown ups are arriving with friends a week later for a week at the Nicholas appartments.
Does anyone have an opinion on whether it is cheaper to book a car on-line or hire on arrival considering the late time of the season?
Have for the last two years booked on-line from Eurocar.
Many thanks, Julian _________________ old blue eye's |

You won't go far wrong with Victoria car hire (Now Sixt Company) we use them twice a year for a scooter but they have many cars. Just email Nikos at vicpap74@yahoo.gr and he will give you a good price or take a look here http://www.skiathosinfo.com/business/victoria-cars.htm
PS When you have done the deal if you email your flight number to him, the vehicle will be waiting for you at the airport.

For info we recently used Mustang Car hire for the hire of a Suzuki Jimny. They delivered to the Hermes apartments where we were staying and picked it up at the end of the hire and the service was 1st class and reasonably priced. I am sure Victoria Car Hire are good too. _________________ We started with nothing and we have most of it left. |

Wandering around town the last couple of weeks, a jeep type thing was a pretty standard €24 per day. This late in the season, you may be able to haggle if you want it for a few days. _________________ Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |
