Stu
Just jump in a cab. Nowhere is faraway from the airport although I'm sure someone else can tell you the fare as I'm not sure how much is these days. |

| There are always plenty of taxis about. It cost us 15 euros a couple of weeks ago. You might find someone to share with. |

| Best taxi deal we got was from Troulos into town one night - 6 euros for two of us and he was prepared to take another two for the same amount but they preferred to wait for the bus! Most nights it was 8 euros. |

Villa Maria is very good. Very clean, quiet at night as there is no bar but one just up the road. Angela who owns it is very nice and helpful but you may not see her unless you are looking for her. The rooms all face towards the garden and pool. Across the field you can see the road that goes towards Koukanaries on the right and town on the left. Not far from bus stops and beach. Hope you can see from this photo taken last year.

| We didn't see anyone going up the hill opposite the other week, it was very quiet. All those apartments were empty. |

I posted a comment about your diary but couldn't see it, I think my computer may be mis behaving, probably trying to tell me to stop lunch and get on with work! |

Magman, the taxi drivers are always looking for punters who appear to be sad, humiliated and lost then they can add a few euros to the fare.
Make sure you don't put your black and white shirt on then
