It certainly does.
Have never had it so cold and wet in September before totally we had 1 day of sun (2 half days added together!!)
also very quiet due to the XL situation
wont stop me returning next May though!! _________________ Would love to live in Skiathos-heaven! |

| No it won't stop us returning next June either. Anybody seen Fast Eddie lately by the way? He was one of the damp squid brigade last month too. Daft enough to sit with us in the rain watching Mamma Mia. |

According to the locals it was the most rain seen in September for 20 odd years.
We made the most of it and still enjoyed every second.
On a positive environmental note, the Island will benefit from the rain and hopefully recover from the fire damage etc more quickly.
We too have already booked for June and September 2009. |

I really don't want to make too many people too sick but the weather here lately has been fabbo.
Today, all the Olympic reps went home, and this afternoon we sat down at the Mythos bar on the old port. The sun was very hot and the Ag Nicholas was the only boat there. The port was lovely and peaceful and from where we were sitting we could see just blue sky,a couple of boats and the islands off of Skiathos......heaven! _________________ www.perigiali-skiathos.com

well, it's warm and sunny here, but all we see when we gaze out is oak trees and horse bottoms....
no islands, Aegean, boats....
looking forward to November.
