Hiya Darrell and Claire
It was nice to catch up with you again in Skiathos last week. As you could probably tell at the airport it was so sad to leave. Its far harder leaving in October than what it is in June as we always know that in June a few weeks and we are back. I have been straight on looking for flights for next June and like I said to you there 1st choice are looking at £1000 flight only June. Nightmare, then I found with Olympic Hols £560.00 for the two of us went back later in the day to book and they have put on price increase £100.00 do you know Darrell if this is likely to come back off at all or once its going on with Olympic will it stay on.
Thanks
Pauline |

We traveled with Olympic hols this year and we found when booking that the price tended to vary almost daily. Based on that I think all you can do is keep watching and when a price comes up that is acceptable grab it quick _________________ who me ??? |

Unfortunately, Aegean don't fly to Copenhagen. They fly to Hamburg, but the train fare from Copenhagen to Hamburg is more then the Aegean fare from Hamburg to Athens. _________________ Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

I have just flown with Aegean from Stansted to Athens and it was great. Highly recommended.
Having flown with XL for so many years the Aegean planes were like luxury... The planes looked very new inside and there was a lot more leg room, the seats were wider as well. The air hostesses were very friendly and professional (Greek) and you could see that they took a pride in their job. When I flew out I just thought I had been lucky but it was the same coming back as well. The only draw back is you have to fly to Athens. Not too much of a problem going out as there are various ways of getting from Athens to Skiathos. I chose to wait for the Olympic flight in the evening. The problem coming back (If you use the Olympic flight from Skiathos) is that it means either staying in a hotel over night in Athens or spending the night at the airport.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. _________________ Chris |
