Well today the weather is turning, it is cloudy but not too cold.
However, there was another school teachers strike yesterday, so Sophia, her best friend and us mums went down to Kouk beach.

It was about 27 degrees and we had the beach to ourselves, apart from the ducks. Sophia and Adam went swimming (they should have been on little Banana as they were naked).

It was an excellent day as we sat there and got a suntan whilst eating our picnic.

If anyone finds a couple of cars in the sand next season, can you let me know as the kids buried them pretty well and we spend ages trying to find them.

Claire I am dead jealous. I sat in the house with our little grandaughter as it rained all day. I know where I would rather have been. 27 degrees!

Ah!! Teachers strikes. Reminds me of when I was working. Or maybe it was when I was not!!

hmm on two counts

1 I don't want to hear it's 27 degrees there - I am too jealous

2 Teachers get enough holidays already - my other half gets 20 days a year and it's hard physical and stressful work!!!
