Right folks, you know when you come from the town and turn left to go to Kanapitsa ?
Well if you look immediately down to your left there is a pretty looking beach down there( You can see it from the main road) What's it's name and how do you access it and where do you park your car ?
Kolios beach, I've heard a lot about it. Is this the one when coming from town it's the next one after the Vromilnos(sp)turn off ? If so again, where's the best place to access it and where to park cos I've never seen a signpost for it.
Thanks, Gary _________________ Greece is the word ! |

Nostos Bay ... you can turn left off the Kanapitsa road, drive in and park right by the beach. Nice little bay with good taverna.
You can also turn off the mainroad and park at the far end of Kolios beach too. Never seen a signpost, just found it |

For Kolios beach there is a car park if you turn left just before the small supermarket on the left (not sure if it was open last summer), I think it is just below the sign for infinity blue restaurant on the hill above the road. It's a dirt car park and has lots of space.
As you go along the main road there is some empty ground on the left just after the turn off for Vrolimnos, then you can turn in left just as you reach the buildings on your left (kolios Beach studios and Kolios beach taverna enterence)

To Lisa & Geoff.
Unfortunately, the "empty ground" is now being developed as a housing estate and is unavailable for parking. This leaves the taverna end of Kolios beach sadly lacking in parking space.
To discopants,
"Nostos" beach is more accurately known as Tzaneria and the excellent taverna is Nafsika.

Yes Gary - the boats also come into the bay from town too. |
