Hi all
Had fantastic time last year stayed at Hermes in Kolios the first week in May, in fact we were the first flight out with First Choice. We had lovely weather all week, not many places open, went to Banana beach one day and had the beach to ourselves all morning, then the crowds appeared all 6 of them, they were working on 2 tavernas at the time, I expect they will be buzzing now. Also went to Koukanaries beach one morning, no-one on it at all, no sunbeds out - it was fantastic, in fact we had an extra day in Koukanaries, our flight home on the Wednesday night was cancelled, due to a bird in the engine! We were accommodated in the large hotel overlooking Koukanaries beach for the night, (can't remember the name) looked after very well, fed and watered so we had an extra day on our beloved island, counting the days now to 30th May, staying at the Demetris studios this year, bi for now

Im going to Kolios in August, i have never been to Skiathos before, hope it lives up to all the hype
