Hi Guys

Just thought I would register and say that we are looking forward to our first visit to Skiathos on Friday 28th September staying at the Roulla Apartments in Platanias.

Everything I have read so far has been good, hope we are not going to be dissapointed.

Stayed at the Roula before and can tell you that you won't be disappointed. Great pool and bar and Platanias restaurant next door is brilliant. Try the Avli restaurant, it's reasonable and the food is brilliant. We'll be there a few times over the next couple of weeks. Have a great holiday!

Hi Carolanne,we are also staying at the Roulla,flying out on the 28th.See you at Gatwick.We are 4 adults and a daughter/monkey called Sophia.Where abouts in south London are you? We are from Mill Hill.

We live in Carshalton which is between Croydon and Sutton.

How long are you there for? We are only there for a week.

I know Carshalton,we do a lot of work around Putney and Wimbledon.Also did a job near where they film the Bill.We also are going for a week,our second visit of this year.

In the '70's I used to work a mobile disco, with my cousin originally, later with a guy who lived near Carshalton.

I/We used to gig quite often at Carshalton Hall.

BTW Darrell, met and had a chat with Claires uncle Michael on flyer duty last Friday evening not far from Geof's office on PapaD. He certainly is looking forward to the upcoming visits, yours and another who arrives earlier, on a first visit?

Glad he is ok.His sister Kathy and her husband are going out next week.It will be nice as we are all meeting up for dinner one night.
Wierd place Skiathos isn't it!

Thanks for all your welcomes.

This is our third trip to Greece this year, have been to Kos twice, once for a week in May with my sister in law and her husband then we went back for 2 weeks in July with our son.

My sister in law is going out to Skiathos next Friday for a week with their son and wife and grand daughter, and are trying to get to stay on an extra week with us, but they are having problems finding flights at the moment.

What sort of weather can we expect at this time of year?

Can't stand Pie & Mash, makes my stomach turn just thinking about it, especially with all that liqrour poured over it YUK!!! As you may have guessed I'm not a true Londoner - I am originally from Coventry, but have lived most of my life down south.
