|
|
| I know this topic has been covered before but I can't seem to find any of the threads! My other half loves fish (i don't) so I'm looking for a good fish restaurant and any directions you can give me to it please! Am I right in thinking there is somewhere down near the bus terminal at bus stop zero? |

Fresh fish is in abundance on Skiathos and presumably you refer to the town as you already mentioned the first bus stop.
One suggestion would be to pick a nice setting somewhere up to old harbour sit down take your time and ask, you shouldn’t rely on other tastes or recommendations to much but make your own mistakes it can be fun and often turn out better than you thought. I know like many taverna’s O’Batis has there own fishing boat but strictly speaking he’s not a fish taverna. No it’s not a plug I just use it for reference to the general area.
Gee I’m going to get into terrible trouble again for mentioning those words, sorry………..
You may even wish to try the fish market on the way to Jimmy’s bar.
Most of all have great holiday |

Wow
Trundle along the harbour front past all the day trip boats and when you reach the Slip Inn head up the steps past the Rock & Roll bar, (save that for latter) strait on past Taverna Aurora (Chicken George) Stamatis and you will come to O’Baits.
You should have a good look at all the tavernas as Stamatis usually has a large selection of fish on display, but remember you will get hassled so put a brave face on and don’t be surprised if you don’t make you proposed destination the first time. |
