We are going to be playing music SOME night within that time frame, at Skiathos Lad's Oasis Hotel bar.... it'll be a date of his choosing.
Perhaps some of us who are on the island at that time could use that as a 'Boomeranger Night' meet-up... and it'll bring Skiathos Lad some business as well! ??
Just a thought....

Okay then, not much interest, eh?
That's about it on my efforts for organizing - I'll let someone else organize a May or June get together and go back to organizing protests....
Got our tickets last night - 19 May leaving SFO; 20th pm, having a tsipouro on the harbor in Skiathos town, here we come...

We leave the island June 18...
and more than wanting people to hear us perform (god knows we have plenty of people hearing us here at home - and to be honest we've always refrained from playing anywhere on Skiathos - we have a few times in the past and now are thinking that it would be a fun thing to do once or twice)
we thought it would be an excellent way to get people together... great place, lovely host, built in music and a bar! If it is only Mike, then that will be lovely... maybe not so lovely for him, as he would love to have br patrons, but one rapt listener is all we need~ 
No - we won't be playing w/ Stamatis! He's a lovely, lovely man.. but really don't think he feels able to 'improvise', which he would need to do and nothing we do is likely to ever have crossed his ears before so it wouldn't even be vaguely familiar. We will, however, be playing some night or weekend at Hellinikon, in between Dimitrios and Yiannis' sets, as Theodoros asked us to... that will be fun.
I put it out there only because no one else had bothered yet to put out any ideas.... ! (and our travel dates are indeed up there on the 'list' you've put together....)
Like I said, better efforts can be put to use protesting our administration's revived push to bomb Iran....
we'll see whoever we run into when we're there on the island... no doubt!

He did when we were there in December.. first he tried to get US to do it...
no luck...
so he did.
Very cute. We had quite a bunch of dancers in there that night - if you can imagine, given how small their indoor space is!

Not yet, Ian.. I have yet to hear from Skiathos Lad so we might just have to figure a night somewhere else - or maybe Helinikon since Theo wants us to play there some night...
We'll be up for whatever, whenever. If Mike gives us a possible date for the Oasis, I will post it here.
