I've just been wondering how many taverna/restaurants there are on the island, and how many per head of tourists per average week this equates to. I know it's very difficult to have a bad eating experience but reading these posts, there are loads of different names that crop up which intrigues me. You can always find a taverna even in the remotest parts of the island.Perhaps it's because of the competition that the food reputation in Skiathos is so highly rated. Any thoughts?
