Guy had a meet planned 8th, which is the day we arrive. We could probably have done that, but maybe not out of town. I subsequenly saw this had been moved to the 5th, which obviously we cannot do. Where that one currently is I don't know.
A different meet looks like being a reality on a Saturday in town later, 20th most likely as the "late crew" seem to be at highest strength then.
With so many people in "the club" now, a meet of some kind is possible pretty much anytime during the season. Check out the holiday crowd thread to see who is around when you are. We are 8th - 22nd for example so overlap with you guys almost completely. _________________ Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

| Darrell I'm happy for you to arrange a meet for Saturday 20th September at Dionysos. If that's where everybody is happy to meet. |

Yes and yes.
Every summer there is a large international gathering of "Father Christmas's" held at "Bakken" which is a large park and fairground north of Copenhagen. Reaches it's climax when the Ho-Ho-Ho'ing is truly frenetic on the 24/25th. Take a coast line train heading towards Helsingør and get off at Klampenborg, the entrance to the park is visible from the station.
The summer weather, which until yesterday has been poor, changed yesterday afternoon. The cloud broke, the sun came out and V and I walked down to the harbour after dinner for ice cream under a cloudless sky with no wind. The forecast is for more of the same and up to 30C by Sunday. There is now a predominantly easterly weather flow, (changed from south westerly), which is always good for us in the summer, continental air, not maritime.
I hope it holds for your trip! Copenhagen is a nice little city, but it is difficult to love any place if it is pouring down and blowing a gale. _________________ Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.
