Hi all

We are hoping to come over for the summer next year and have sussed out - I think - a route to drive over, (thanks to everyone on here) Very Happy BUT have read somewhere that when going back at the end of the season we would need to take a 'different' route because of our dog?

If anyone can help with this query it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Has your dog got a passport? if not you cant take it back into the uk! If you have already sorted that (it takes 7 months for the whole procedure) then all you have to do is take the dog to the vets 24-48 hrs before you re-enter the uk and get it frontlined wormed and a health check. Also you can only go on certain ferry routes. Look on the defra website under pets passport for more details. Hope that helps
