Does anyone have any idea what is happening to all of the accommodations previously offered by Kosmar. We have been staying with Stavros and his family at the Thanos Apartments for about 6 years now. We have usually booked our 2009 holiday by now but just don't know what to do.

I have emailed my friend who's boyfriends family own Filia in Troulos but she said they are not too sure what's happening yet regarding the Kosmar apartments.

We have booked to go back to Skiathos with First Choice next year, staying at Villa Maria in Troulos. Really wanted to stay at Filia again, but wanted to get in quick for booking up as we didn't want to leave it too late and get nowhere as the flights maybe less now XL have gone. Viking I think have taken them over but I'm not sure what they are like???

My mum and dad have booked in at Maria Yiannis apartments near the Frog Bar

I know what you mean about booking up early. We've usually always booked up by this time but we really want to stay at the Thanos - I think we'll have to write to Stavros direct. We too were thinking about booking with First Choice but last week I priced it up on line and it was coming up with a £350 online discount - went to book it on Saturday suddenly it only had a £196 discount. Stopped me in my tracks somewhat! We've decided to risk it and wait till much nearer the time and just hope we get something. We're hoping that by then someone may have taken over the Thanos Apts. Personally I don't fancy travelling with Viking I too have never heard of them. Even First Choice I see have been taken over by Thompson now.
