She was sensational .. could even win it, but the Spanish girl who sang Purple Rain could run her close.

I don't think she'll win but she has an amazing voice & a good presence - I'd be very surprised if Mr Cowell doesn't sign her, regardless - her voice and style are well suited for the US market!

Laura won't win either - the final will be between Alexandra and Austin

Good grief! I think Austin is terrible, he makes me cringe with all the bum notes he manages to find. My money is on the Spanish girl.

Sorry Shadowfax - I know she's related but ..... Simon's comment about Marmite is spot on with Diana - I love Marmite but unfortunately Diana's voice is not my cup of tea - Alexandra or Ruth - even JLS stand a good chance - they will get a record deal even if they don't win.

To be honest at first I didn't think she would win, my money was on Ruth, I thought she had the best voice as well as being rather attractive!! Laughing

However this week reminded me that it's more of a popularity contest than a talent contest, as we saw when Ruth was in the sing off Confused

. The bookies apparently have just installed Diana as favourite to win the competition Wink

, but I'm sure that changes from week to week. I have to vote for Diana as she's family and so that makes me biased, but I think at worse she will make it down to the last four.

PS. Would you believe she's had an approach from Marmite about advertising for them!!!

Great Shadowfax...agree she is different and in the music business different is good. The bonus point for me is that she is a Lancashire lass, although I now reside in soft and gentle Cheshire.....I started this mortal toil in the hills around Lancashire. p.s. say hello to Gandalf for me when you return his horse
