We just lost a dear friend yesterday... we've realized that we're coming into the age where we are going to start watching loved ones leaving us far too often... and amidst the heaviness of my day I come here to the Skiathos board and - laugh!

I just want to let you ALL know that, though I know only one or two of you, I SO appreciate the laughter I find pouring out of me almost every time I come to this board! Besides the sharing of our mutual love for our Aegean gem of an island, your humor (OK - humoUr) astounds me and sometimes has howling in hysterics until Paul has to come and see whats up - maybe I'm watching those darned SNL YouTube skits again... Smile

So - THANK YOU!!! You are all PRECIOUS!

xo
Elle

Hi Eleanore, sorry to hear about the sad loss of your friend, I've attended far too many funerals of late.

But ...... I'm glad you're enjoying the wit and humour of the board .... how can so many nutcases end up on the same website ???

Naturally I don't include myself Very Happy

Sometimes Viv comes running upstairs saying " wot's HE done now ?"

I'm sat at the computer with tears rolling down my face .... irreplaceable Cool

Nobody believes I've never met HIM Rolling Eyes

Elle have YOU got any pics of Mrs Whicker ???

I'm having real problems with that Suejet ..... I know she has some, but wants me to pay a Kings ransom for em.

Seriously though, our thoughts are with you and Paul .... just think of the memories Very Happy

MRS WHICKER _ ARE YOU THERE???????????????????????

Last saw her on a dead posh train as it sped through Chester - you know the one Cheshire Cats - the type with silver cutlery and the linen table cloths and several bottles of wine on the table

hmmmm, sounds like the type of train we ended up on when the 'dead posh one' broke down on the return leg of the journey - brake failure, probably couldn't stop due to weight of wine bottles on the table Laughing and, no Suejet wasn't there this time.
