Hi Guys
Does anyone have or know where to find a fab recipe for authentic Skiathos Stifado? We are having a Greek/Mama Mia evening on Saturday and every recipe I find is different!
I'd also be grateful of any suggestions for Greek aperatif's, other than Ouzo.
Many thanks

| You could try www.greekcuisine.com - I think this is the one I used for stifado. A good general site for recipes is www.videojug.com but not sure that I found one for stifado on this site. |

My hubby, Dave, cooks a fantastic stiffado. He got the recipe from one of the books on a flight to Greece, probably Skiathos. I will let you have it later if you are still interested. I'm a veggie now so he doesn't cook it anymore. Mind you he could cook me a veggie stiffado. The aroma by the way when it is cooking is wonderful.
Foxy, Dave cooks Christmas dinner too, aswell as every Sunday and Monday - Saturday. Well I did it for the first 30 years. |

| Just remembered, a few years ago our daughter bought hubby a wonderful little cook book from W H Smith. It's called 'Meze' and it has some wonderful Greek recipes in. It wasn't expensive, about £3 so look out for it. |
