I spent a good period of time on the Island in 1984/85 with contacts at The Greek Connection Tourist Bureau and would also meet Gulliver's NorwegianTravel guests at the airport whilst their rooms were sorted out.
I have fond memories of escorting the Icons out to Panagias Kounistria, .
Kechrias and Evaggelistrias.
Costas and Adonis Sarris were contacts and also at that time Odver Vinje an artist from Norway was very smitten on the life style of Skiathos and spent a lot of his time there.
I have recently puchased a machine to copy slides to digital images and having dug these out am looking at images I have not viewed for over 20 years.Believe it or not the memory of some is a bit hazy!! and now as these almost qualify as archives thought someone might like to share them
