Got back from our 3rd year at Geof and Lida's place in Zorbades on July 4th. Had such a good time that it is only now I can bear to admit I'm home for another year.
Nice to see the surroundings starting to recover after last years fire. We were there when it started and I don't really want to do that again!
I think this year was the hottest we have ever experienced in Skiathos and this was our 6th visit. Geof's pool was more welcome than ever!
Have so many great memories again. Impossible to write about them all. I would be here all night. Great times walking and exploring this wonderful island. We seem to find something new every year. This year was the first time we had been to Kanapitsa beach. Beautiful place.
Meals at Paradosi, Platanos, Panorama, Yamas formerly Agelika, The Village in Koukounaries, back to their best, Chicken Georges in town, great spit roast Pork, Kohili and Jimmy's in Paraskevi, Skilthri Taverna.
Evenings in having a barbeque, Mythos, wine and my old mate Ouzo.
This was the first visit to Skiathos for our friends who came with us this year and I was flattered that they loved the place so much. Maybe they will be like us and get the Skiathos sickness. You know that funny itch where it gets under your skin!
Great times and I would 100% recommend Geof's place to anyone.
