The last 9 months has gone by at a slow snails pace but the last 2weeks in skiathos has flown by like Lewis Hamilton on speed. Manchester airport in the irish pub 1 wine and a guinness 2 burgers £28!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Arived at Hotel Stellina and confronted by other guests shouting at Christina behind reception about their rooms so we went to the pool bar and said hello to Milan and Hakmed and sunk a few Mythos, George the owner has a fiery reputation but we like him he even bought us drinks. The holiday was getting around by bus and water taxi also walking to the dog santuary and to the north side of the island. But the best part was having a drink up on the Bortzi then getting ready to go out, first stop Jimmys cocktails then on to a taverna....Alexanders and a chat with Magda who we met for the first time this year( pork fillet alexanders, seabass. yumyum) Asprolithos ( rabbit with prunes, asprolithos lamb, walnut cake). Sofias for the best stifado in greece. Marias for pasta good new location. Taverna Lyhnart ( cheese saganaki, beef stamnas and steak with mustard) . nice greek salads at portobellos. Gyros to die for at Nicos. Also a must is a visit to Achladies beach taverna for the best home made pizzas. A sketos and metaxa at the harbour coffee shop and a chat with Lucy. For my self and Debbie the kindness and Generosity of the people of skiathos is why we will go back for our 4 year next june.

Hey Neil and Debbie, remember me???? It turns out I just missed you in June (by two days...am gutted...) Do you remember greek night two years ago near the club strip??? Laughing

Hi Rebecca GREAT to hear from you i remember the holiday well, through a alcoholic haze dodgy red wine and a ditch and a very bruised deb. You were a very naughty girl a very bad influence on my quite and sedate life (umm). We went back in sept 07 to the stellina hotel, that time had a nearly drink free holiday, hotel was like a morgue no life. So deb being deb booked the same hotel this year, it was total different the staff treated us like long lost friends, need to say the drinks at night were very large, and so began the road to disaster, after a long day out on a boat and not a lot to eat deb took a liking to ouzo and guess what fell down that bloody same ditch with me trying to drag her out. All the guest form the hotel seem to pass us and look disgusted. Next morning she was wearing a big black eye and made it worse by trying to hide behind sun glasses, needless to say people were looking at me like a wife beater. The rest of the hols went ok kept looking in portobellos to see if i could see you but the (ledgend that is rebecca) was nowere to be found. So what about your self?

Such a shame that we missed each other! I ended up in Morrocco last year and really missed my skiathos trip hence me going this year. Got back on 4th July, stayed at the Paradise again (and could be found indulging in the cocktails at Portobello most nights!) and had a lovely relaxing holiday...got into no scrapes at all! Can you believe it????
