Skiathos has its annual horse race each Greek Easter Monday.
The race takes place round the lake by the airport with the finishing line near the boatyard.
There are a couple of races with the first and second placed horses of each race going through to the final.

Here are the photos of the final race in April 2006, with the mayor presenting the prize.
