Hello

Howdy there!!! I'm coming to get married in Skiathos in June with 20+ family and friends.

I love Skiathos. It's perfect for a wedding, in fact a friend of mine has already got married there in 2004 and it was fab.

I am stopping in the Atrium and I am organising everything when I get there (1 week before).

I need to get a photographer, order my flowers (Mum's already spoken to the florist), pick a place in town to go for drinks and a lite bite after I get married and choose somewhere to have the wedding evening meal.

I have booked a wedding planner through my travel agent, but I would like to do as much as possible myself.

I'm also going back in August for another weeks holiday.

Hi AF, now I knew you were brilliant! We'd make a good team - I will decorate chairs, tables, cakes and do the wedding bouquests and button holes and the wedding ceremony room and on and on and on, so we need 2 tickets. Very Happy

AF and Sue - If I win the lottery I will pay for flight tickets (I'm just imanging Scooch running round with flowers).

I have booked a standard package wedding which includes a planner/organiser through Olympic. I have no idea who it is (I will probably see her/him? when I get there).

The reason I asked about the wedding coordinator is that they have a new one every year and they have to reinvent the wheel every year so be aware there may be a lack of local knowledge regarding flowers and cakes etc. My wife is a Beauty therapist and hairdresser and we live on the island, if you need any help with anything email us and we will try to point you in the right direction.

My Mum and Dad and a friend has been to Skiathos many times, and as I've been I'm not worried about anything (other than photos). I'm not expecting much from the planner as I didn't pay enough to have expectations.

I am happy to hear about your wife. I was thinking about getting a pamper before the day, if I get time. Or a least get my nails done.

We used the photographer who is based a little way up on the same side as the albatross bar in pap st.He has his own shop and is married to a Scottish girl.I cant remember prices but he was probably quite reasonable.Also he doesn't rip off people when it comes to buying the copies.
