I know that dog... dear old thing... on the beach at katiyiorgos (sp?)?
He (she?) took great delight in making a big show of pooping, right in front of a slew of grossed out tourists who were eating at a taverna there... we giggled...
Is that the one?
and all of the kitties.... you can tell the wild ones, from their dirty, black noses - dirty from greasy leftovers like souvlakia and fish heads! the 'cool cat' looks for all the world like a Tom we knew in the Plakes - Boris. he would hang out on the ledge above the water and we regularly found him relentlessly stalking the little female kitties... ruffian. Why don't they lop those balls OFF????? (I know, I know.. it's not 'natural'... well, neither is throwing a bag full of newborns over the cliff, but don't get me started on that...
...going off to cuddle the 2 dogs, 4 'moggies' (one is NAMED Moggie!) and 2 horses, now......
dreaming of early morning on the harborfront....
only 89 days!!!!!!! _________________ "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.

Wow i think i recognise some of those cats. Where is the black and white one ian (troulos maybe?) He has been neutered hence the chopped off top on his ear! And paul where yours taken at the kounistra monastry? There were a few of the grey ones, a black and white skiinny girly gave birth to about 3 of them but they didnt all survive. And the black and white one on the window sill is who we used to call 'big balls' if hes from monastry, he is such a sweetie, used to be a real wi8ld one but now you can pick him up and cuddle him! God i miss the animals of skiathos, more than anything else, sad huh!
Oh and that little black and white dog, is he from troulos too? He used to attack my dog along with matitsa everytime we walked past their house, then on the way back trudi from victoria used to run out at us! |

I recognise the black & white dog if it's the one from Troulos. There were also a couple of other dogs at Troulos, a big Ally & another one that used to charge in and out of the water, getting on everyone's nerves |

Plakes - In the ruins of the lovely big building, sadly now a burnt out skeleton at the top of Taverna hill ... _________________

The little dog on Chelleb's photo looks like the one on Small Banana. _________________ To dance beneath a diamond sky with one hand waving free..... |

I thought so too, Ian... Last June, she we saw her the one day we went to Little Banana (if she's one and the same) and she was quite busy with newborn pups, and had to go quite a ways over the hot sand for fresh water... hot-footing it from towel to towel, much to the chagrin of some of the people there...
She was a weary little thing. I wanted to scoop her up and bring her home with me. _________________ "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.
