Hi everyone, Karen (kaz) and Phil here from Staffordshire quite new to the forum still working my way around. We are coming home on 29th June for 2 weeks {not long enough) not really our home but just a saying we have as it will be our 20th time to Skiathos, mainly staying in Troulos but did stay at Platanias in June last year and Troulos in Sep/oct last year, yes we were unlucky enough to be there early october when everywhere was flooded, not put us off though. It doesn't matter where you stay on Skiathos being a small island it is so easy to get around. We love Troulos, mainly because we have met so many friends there over the years. The whole of Skiathos is beautiful. Counting down now 8 weeks on friday roll on!!!!!
Anyone else travelling on the Birmingham Air Malta flight 29th June? if so see you at the airport. Having a Greek theme weekend next week with friends out comes the Greek cookery book, Yamas everyone!!!!! _________________ Karen&Phil

Wow, 20 years. That's some achievement.
I'm going three times this year.
A week at the beginning of June, another in the middle of July, and a final one in the second week of September.
Two plans.
Firstly, to avoid school holidays.
Secondly, to try to feel like I'm there all Summer!
Staying in Troulos, as always.

Hi Patsy
Sorry about my name. Because my surname is so long (Pettigrew) my parents gave me a nice short first name (Guy).
You're in west Sussex, yes? Not so far from Gatwick.
So you're the oldest? How old?

Where and when did you go last year?
I was there early July and early September, in Troulos, of course.
Used Taverna Vearelli a lot, plus Paradiso and Agelika.
Might we have passed each other, without realising it?

| hi Ianb, myself, grandaughter and her man will be at ribchester july 16th for 5 nights overlooking the river ribble.which is just outside,i have now aquired a shoprider electric buggy, which bought from a friend,a "shoprider whisper"it's on the internet.it fits nicely in the boot of car,.never been up that way before i think it's in the valley.seeing as i cant go to skiathos it's the next best thing.i am up this morning it's 5-30am english time, i dont usualy get up till noon.but had to put webcam on the task bar as i need it later.btw i love the bike in pic,my son prefers the bike to car,as he goes up the peak district on his and he finds it excilarating. like all mums i do worry a little bit although he is advanced driver. |

Have seen a few snakes in Skiathos, well only small ones!!!!!!
3 times to Skiathos this year lucky you can't wait for my retirement!!!!!!! we normally have 2x2 weeks though, we just love it. Where in Troulos do you stay? As mentioned previously we were there when they had floods in October I have never seen people work so hard to try and get a resort back to normal. Hope they have filled in the big hole that was in the road on the way to Skiathos town. Enjoy your hols leave plenty of sun for us at the end of June. _________________ Karen&Phil

Just as I thought , we fly to Thassos on the 13th so we will be in Greece .
I will go round with the duster and hoover before we go and leave it nice and tidy for you before we go .
btw the bike is sponsored by a bike dealer friend of mine ridden by a chap called Mark Cronshaw he is having some good results on it .Took the picture at Oulton Park last weekend ( along with about 300 more ).
