Sorry..What happened this Wednesday?????
Anyway, sorry, Shadyfacts, for the tone of my last message..one tsipro too many! We played rubbish and any talk of taking it easy to oust Barca is rubbish too. Still, with you drawing and A...nal getting stuffed by our neighbours, looks like a two GG race just now. Roll on the draw for the knock-out. Once a Shed Boy, always a Shed Boy. Dad was a Charlton supporter and took me to see them play Chelski in 1950,when I was 4, and to spite him I've followed the Blues ever since..and listened to them. I was at Villa Park in 1965 I think when you beat us in the semi-final. Not much train left when we got back! My mate picked up one of the police dogs wot was there to meet us and then got eaten alive..and that was just the coppers!
To answer Darrel, as you may know, I've left Skiathosand am travelling in a camper-van with a new lady. We've been round the Peloponnese and Pelion, which is much nicer, and are now in Italy, near La Spetzia, at a place called Le Cinqe Terre, 5 beautiful coastal villages linked by an impossible footpath which we walked today in 5 hours. Really knackered but watching the local team, Genoa, play Juve on a 20€ b & w telly in the camper...1-1 at the moment. As we've got wi-fi on the camp site, also caught up with the cricket... North-east guy comes good.
I'm trying to do a belated travelogue, which will include a priest, 90 year old granny..of Spyros, waiter from Fresh Bar, a smelly shepherd and Uncle Tom Cobbley in the van, getting stuck in back alleys of Metsovo, Pompeii( sorry, Keith) and Florence, and camping on a ferry where I had to move their barbecue to plug in the electric.
Watch this space and Kali Nixt

I heard the tu-tu one is Ashley Cole.

At last an away win!!! This is going to hurt but......
I don't think Ronaldo dived, ok it must be a first but having watched about 20 replays he most definately stumbled. No way it should have been a penalty and the sooner we have video replays the better. It can't slow the game down anymore than the referee trying to bat the protesting players away for 10 minutes. |

Hi All, esp Shadtfacts.. Sorry to go back to footy again but just recovering from an anxious day yesterday. You must admit goals were good.
Halway up a mountain near Merbel in France. Camper-van abandoned cos too cold. Nuts started falling off...wheels that is.. so found a studio. Tsipero swapped for Pastis, souvlaki for snails and van for a brand new V.Wm Caravelle to do airport transfers. More news anon. |

Great to hear from your ongoing travels Sundance, hope you're well oiled now. For those of us who love the skiing as well as the beach do keep us posted. I was watching the world cup skiing from Italy this morning, the snow was falling thick and fast there. Will you be in Meribel for Christmas? _________________ you heard it here first - BOJAN! |
