The Skiathos Bulletin Board

We are Skiathos lovers having just returned. We were looking forward to homing a lovely dog from the Sanctuary called Neilo who looked like a Basset Hound but with long legs like a pointer. We have just been mailed that he has been stolen from the Sanctuary. It is suggested that he may have been transported to Volos for use as a hunting dog.
Can any-one anywhere help? He is chipped.

Awww, he's beautiful. I do hope you get him back. Everytime I go up to the dog shelter I come away in tears.

I took one that looked like him for a walk, in 2003. His name was Bruce though. Absolute loon..........dragged me up & down the hill. We've got a photo somewhere with his lead wrapped round my legs Embarassed

I think what I need is a caring Greek who might be able to know with local knowledge where Neilo might be. Sat here in England I personally can do nothing. Regards to all in Skiathos lovers and say hello to Wendy or her daughter Emma who you will find in the rooftop bar most nights who are ex-pats who have emigrated to Skiathos and are lovely people and are well worth befreinding.
