I think that this link has just made my mind up to head for Parga or Lefkas next summer. I just need to break it gently to the wife and kids when they get back from their second Skiathos jolly in a couple of weeks.

Is it quiet in May-June, like Skiathos?

Its very nice in Lefkas in Mat.
we stayed in Ligia which is about 15 mins drive from Lefkada town. Its only a small place ,with about a dozen tavernas 2 bars a couple of supermarkets & bakery's and best of all NO TAT SHOPS.

Spent two weeks there some years ago and fell in love with the place but never returned and can't really understand why.
It's one of those places that I had forgotten about in the mad rush of things,

Levkas is beautiful (when it isn't raining there)

The setting of Nidri is very pretty and it's got some decent tavernas and good boats trips available..
