Arrived earlier than scheduled on Friday even after leaving late.
Caught a Taxi straight to Theodora apartments and had a great welcome from Maria and got all the news from the last year. Sat around the pool bar and had a good few G&T's and Mythos then caught bus to town and went to this taverna that I really cannot remember the name of, it was off one of the side streets off the main road in an open courtyard, I had the most amazing Lamb Kleftiko we then proceeded to the Albatros to watch the big game - south africa vs England and had a good celebration when we won.
We went to Vomolimnos, Koukanaries and Banana during the day

Ate at Alexandros - chicken with Lemon and potatoes
Taverna Selini - seafood platter for two
Infinity Blue - beef in red wine and tomato sauce and pannacotta and cherry sauce for desert - this was the best meal all holiday
Unknown restaurant - lamb kleftiko
Marias Pizza - excellent as always
had a greek barbeque on tuesday night at Theodora - highly reccomended.

We had gorgeous sunshine until thursday when the storm hit - torrential rain until friday 10am - it was really nice as the island needs the rain and I have not seen skiathos like that before - The cab driver on the way down to town said "No rain, will blow over". so much for that.....

I dont think we will be going in September again, I like the island atmosphere when the season is just starting so am looking forward to booking for June next year
