A few people off here go during the winter & they normally go via Athens.

KLM do flights (don't think they're cheap though)

Have a look at this site, I've used them a couple of times

Fly Thomas Cook let you purchase one way tickets . We've just extended our May/June trip by 5 days and the one way ticket back with Thomas Cook is only £200 for 3 of us.

Hi Foxy

Yes from the North terminal at Gatwick. Then you need the ferry. Heard a lot of discussion re the ferries at Easter as fares have been increased due to higher fuel costs.
Everything comes to the island by ferry so these costs are bound to be passed on.

How much is a return flight from Athens to Skiathos? Just booked a one-way flight from Newcastle 22nd august for £60. I'll worry about getting back later but my neice is thinking of flying out for a week via Athens. Also do you know how much ferries are?
