Hi all

A few photos from our holiday in July, had a great time staying in Morfo apartments. food was excellent all over the island, Kon tiki, Plakes, Aldente, Varelli, Pimavera, (mmm stuffed garlic bread), Especially Dionysos (thanks Sue mmmmmm chicken in Metaxa sauce). packed so much into our 1st week back on the island for a while the island is looking as fantastic as ever cant wait to go back next year.

Try a cocktail there good for you

Im sure its Pareskevi, the photo was taken from the top of the steep track down to the beach we walked up from Troulos just past bus stop 17.

Where is the beach with the big thick white matresses on the sunbeds?

Same beach, prices vary for those beds they go up to 150 euros per person per day Surprised

depending on the package you want you can get an all inclusive deal (food/drink)

You can see them from the 1st photo located towards the middle wider section of the beach they have a marquee over them.

150 euros seems expensive, is that stretch part of the skiathos princess hotel

I thought it was expensive, you need to drink a serious amount of beer/coke/coffee to get your moneys worth, I think the princess is a bit further along, the beds are part of the taverna on the beach.

There are other price options and when we were there only one of the marquee's was taken so you could haggle the price, some of the locals tended to come down later on and use the beds maybe at a discounted rate.

I cant afford 150 Euro sunbeds Sue, it was in a bar in Kouk. (long island ice tea) i got 2 of my 5 per day included in the price.

2nd picture down, if you'de have turned left before those steps, and gone 10yards, our house is there, so close to Dionisoss isn't it.
Did you go past it, got a staffie sign on wall?

Didnt see it, but will be round with my suitcase next time we are in Skiathos, Knock knock lol.
