Just back from Skiathos! Went to Skopelos last year and spent some time in Skiathos Town (as you do) so thought we'd go back and see a bit more! Have just spent 2 weeks there. Spent a lot of time thinking we preferred Skopelos but then hired a jeep and bloody hell the island is breathtaking! Absolutely love it - so much so that we're going to get married here next year (major change of arrangements cos it was going to be Santorini!) I suppose I should go to the wedding forum now but just wanted to say hello!  |

Hi Suz
If i could choose to get married again (we only got married last year), we would choose skiathos every time. We did get engaged there (at Jimmys bar at sunset ) i think you've made a brilliant choice. Have a wonderful wedding! |

Hi
My names Louise, thought I would join up, as I have been going to Skiathos for the last 5 years, have already booked again for next July,
counting the day's already. Absolutely love the Island. When I land it's like I have come home, makes me very teary with happiness when I land, even my boyfriend loves it as much as me, and he's harder to please! Typical man.
My mum & dad introduced us to the Island and they come back nearly every May for 2 weeks. They stay at Green Meadows in Troulos and we stay at Filia in Troulos which is next door to Christakis bar, up that huge, cardiac hill, once up there though the view is beautiful. The family are the most lovely kind people you could ever wish to meet.
Hope to have some nice chat's with you all and here's looking forward to 2009!
