Just stayed at the La Piscine, what a hotel!
very clean hotel with a fantastic foyer. The first staff to greet you are the reception and porter, the most friendly people i have met ( reception staff OLGA & NADIA )you feel that you have just found lost relatives.....
The pool area was very clean with a large rectangle pool, surrounded by sunbeds (Only complaint...a little too close to each other ) Small tables and chairs at one side of the pool so you can have breakfast outdoors or all meals. Good size clean bar area.
The rooms are really nice, BUT a word of warning......try and not be allocated in rooms above the bar area..they have small windows and a shared balcony. When we were there it rained (FOR 10 DAYS! ) so the management pulled down a canopy to protect the guests and to stop the balcony from getting flooded. I was windy so the noise was like the sound of furniture being dragged along a floor.....very noisy.
Also the rooms in the First Choice brochure, show a settee and a canopy over the beds, we were moved to room 104....what a differance, flat screen T.V sitting area, large bathroom , bathrobes and slippers THIS IS THE ROOM IN THE BROCHURE...the rep told us that was a standard room / the staff told us it was a deluxe?
Breakfast was continental and hot english , unlimited tea, coffee.
I would not hesitate to go back and i would recomend to everbody..........
if you can book it! ...already hotel taking bookings direct, not seen hotel in 2009 brochures, as yet
many thanks to Olga but most of all to Nadia who has left a place in our hearts.....a true gem |

| I remember when this hotel was being built, we used the pool one year, they opened the pool and snack bar before the hotel was finished and a geordie bloke that we met (Shaun) the previous year was working there. In those days we stayed at the Soula, now the Mylos, studios by the old windmill and pools were scarce in the town apart from the tennis club, happy days. |

| If my memory serves me right you walk about half way up pap. street (with your back to the sea) and turn right, it's a fair way from the harbour. |

| Yes - you turn right at the Acropolis & walk down the Ring Road a bit......it's not that far down, actually. Nearest bus stop is No.4 by the kiosk. |
