From the main site:
quote:
TCFC supporters all over the Country will be delighted by the news that Radio Cornwall have announced that they will now be covering Truro City home and away for the remainder of the season as City attempt to become the first ever Cornish participants in the Southern League.
The coverage will include all Saturday league and FA Vase games and will also be broadcast via the Internet for those fans outside Cornwall (excluding FA Vase games which will only be broadcast to those in the UK).
Ross Ellis will be bringing listeners full match commentary of City's trip to Hallen this weekend as the season begins to reach its climax with City being pushed all the way for the title by the likes of Corsham & Dawlish. So be sure to tune into Radio Cornwall Sport from 2pm this, and every, Saturday on 103.9 & 95.2 FM and DAB Digital radio.

Great news!! (except for the egg chasers!) Mind you, I'll be at Hallen anyway, so great news for Dustin, Ivor etc.
Hopefully they'll continue with guest commentators (keeps Jake et al out of trouble!)
Nice one Radio Cornwall (or should that be Radio Football from now on??!) |

Even the Ceefax Freeview service had the Les Phillips cup result from Saturday on it!
Normally only gets as far as Exeter or Torquay for localness in the lower leagues. |

Yeah great news now us fans who can't make games can taste a bit of the atmosphere and keep up to date. Thank you to BBC Cornwall and the people who are arranging this and i hope it will carry on after this current season. Who wants to listen to rugby anyway?! _________________ "I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception"

I am supposed to be in Derbyshire at weekend so will be missing Hallen which is a shame as its only 12 miles away. Dont suppose I can pick up Radio Cornwall in Ilkeston! |

Whilst that's a good thing for the listeners, I think we'd all agree that we'd much rather Jake was letting his feet do the talking on the pitch - a real blow for us. |

Ted, you will still be able to listen to the match over the internet - if you have access to a PC!! |

Only 12 miles away? More like 112! You're thinking of Hallam, which is based near Sheffield!! |

That is exciting news for us, no doubt! That'll be a real treat to be able to tune in. Now we need to get the blasted FA to change their tune.
I must confess to feeling a bit guilty about monopolizing the airwaves to such a degree, but I'm sure it'll fade when I tune in to Hallen this weekend.

This is uber good news, even though i live in bristol and less than 3 miles from Hallen ironically i'll be in Truro this weekend so will have to tune in and listen!
Dont know how the rugby fans will like half thier matches taken by City as they have had a thick time of it recently. Still, football is the way forward.

Duchy Will, dont worry I will be at Ilkeston for a football match, I'm rarely daft enough to go anywhere on a saturday where I cant get to some game! I dont suppose they have wireless internet access at the ground but I'm not sure I fancy standing on the terraces with a laptop at a ground I've not visited before. |

Dustin,
It looks as if you may have to put up with me to update you on the Vase match, I had hoped to go but that ambition is rapidly declining, unfortunately I have to continue in my carer roll, it is unlikely I could get relieved of my duties long enough to take in a 544 mile jaunt for a football match plus time to visit family etc.
Roll on next year for those nice away games within a 30 mile radius of Wycombe (nearest just 4 miles). _________________ "CHAMPIONS AGAIN"

Well before we get too carried away there is a lot of points to play for before we can make any solid plans lets get right behind the team as always.
