BigG,

I can't believe I wrote all those ramblings, I was happy, if I had gone to the pub to see it I would doubtless, have been thrown out for being OTT.

Thats the fun of alcohol fuelled postings - guilty of that myself occasionally - I found yours very amusing and even as a Chelsea supporter I almost felt the euphoria of the win..!!

BigG,

You will doubtless understand my joy, back in the early 1960's I worked at White Hart Lane, I mixed socially with the great players that made up Spurs double winning team, ironically I also worked at Stamford Bridge (fond memories), but Spurs have always been my No.1 following on from the 1950's at Home Park supporting Argyle.

Sign of the times.
In 1962 Spurs played Argyle in the FA Cup, I did the travel arrangements for 15 train loads of supporters to travel from Paddington, I was the only one travelling dressed in Green, today the Railways can't arrange for one special train.

Good grief, Mountaineer! I've just gotten 'round to reading all those euphoric posts! First, I must compliment on your TUI (typing under the influence) -- very few errors, considering.

Second, well done to Tottenham. I watched it on-line and it didn't disappoint (sorry Big G, but there's only one way for me to lean when Chelsea's involved!).

Dustin,

I did thank spellchecker, when I remembered to use it, I don't know if it was Spurs winning or looking a different team from earlier in the season but the next day I couldn't believe how many empty Guinness cans there were, Josie thought I had friends in because she didn't think anyone could drink so many, honestly neither would I.
Kenny (my son) returned from Wembley in the middle of the night, too out of it to go home, I being away with the fairies didn't know he was there until his mobile phone woke me up earlier than I wanted to surface, that phone call mean't I had to spend two hours driving him home.
