Looking at the article it does state near the end, " We relied on one man for his health and his wealth".
I hope we look after Mr. Heaney and his keeps well. Loads of clubs are in this position where it's a thin line between keeping afloat and going down the proverbial.
Gretna are in a hell of a mess. I've seen plenty of clubs get deadlines and come through at the last hour but this seems to be worse for Gretna. Good luck to them as I know they need it. They need money more than luck though.

I thought I heard the Administrator say on the radio that the £30k was needed by the end of Thursday or else, either way he wasn't optimistic for the future of the club. There for the grace of God go we.........
However there doesn't seem to be a lot of room for sentiment amongst some of the football supporting public North of the Border judging by comments on some of their footie forums e.g. -
worth having a look at the state of the Motherwell's Fir Park pitch on that forum which Gretna have been using as a temporary home, it makes Treyew last season look like the Augusta Golf Course. _________________ Dave Leonard's White & Gold Army !!!
