Hey everyone.
Im a newly registered member. I was born in Plymouth but as the rest of my entire family is from Nottingham, im a lifelong Forest fan and that will never change.
Trouble is, living so far from Nottingham, and with the club charging Premiership prices for League One football, it's difficult to get to more than perhaps, half a dozen games a season (I worked out that the 5 Games I went to last season could have paid for a season ticket, if I lived anywhere nearby)
Ive always also followed the local football scene, mostly Argyle, but I take an interest in any devon and cornwall clubs. Anyway over the past year or two ive taken quite the interest in Truro. Im not sure exactly what it is, but theyve really captured my imagination I don't think it's just the sucess, more the ambition the club seems to have, and ive found myself going from checking how there doing every month or so, to checking there results each week, to checking the OS and this forum fairly regularly to see whats going on.
Im not far off passing my driving test, and what with Truro only being an hour away, I thought id bite the bullet soon and start coming down for a few games when it's just not practical to get to the City Ground.
Just wondered what they charge for admission? It would be quite refreshing to walk into a ground, and not feel like ive just been mugged before the match has even started
Anyway, I tend to ramble a lot (you may have guessed already ) so yeah, Hey everyone, nice to be here.

This season a tenner will get you in, buy a programme, have a go at the 50/50, get you into the stand and get you a cuppa in the tea-hut!

Hi emjay, and welcome.
You may like to know that we are only a stone's throw (well, just up the hill) from the Railway Station, so if you fancy checking out a match before you rip up your 'L' plates, the train is always a good option - and yes, it's only a fiver admission! _________________

programmes are expensive for what you get
dont go in the seats, (£1) stand behing the goal
dont do the 50/50
get the train and have a few pints instead. _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that dont.

Thanks for the welcome everyone
So it would seem for £15 I could get the train there and back, a ticket to the game, a pint and a programme.
Can't argue with that
Next time ive got a few quid to spare and im not off to Forest, il pop down _________________ Oh mist rolling in on the Trent |

Forget the car and get a rail card, take it you are 17/18 so get a YPR rail card, as a guess £5 day return. or if older get a cornwall and devon rail card for £10 the year ,up to 2 adults and 3 under 16 would get a day return for £13 for the five of you. |
