The scene's that greeted the final whistle resembled last season's Vase Semi Final on this occasion Truro turned on a stylish performance to clinch the Western League Premier title with a 6-0 home win against Radstock Town.
It was their third successive promotion as the team remained unbeaten this year consisting of fourteen wins and a draw against Dawlish. The result makes yet more history for the club and for Cornwall with the team turning out next season when they will play in the Southern League.
Truro dominated the game from start to finish with constant waves of attack threatening to totally overrun their visitors and if it wasn't for Gary Stevens in the Radstock goal the score would of reached double figures.
City took the lead in the opening ten minutes when after a couple of blocked efforts skipper Joe Broad stroked the ball into the net.
Further goals from striking duo Watkins and Yetton put City well on their way by half time with Chapman and City's defence rarely tested throughout.
It was only in the final 15 minutes that Truro increased there lead with Andy Watkins getting his second after a sublime Scott Walker cross, the introduction from injury saw the fans favourite Jake Ash score the fifth with his finish looking even better on television the following evening and Vercessi completing the rout.
