Match Report - Jags 6 - 1 Cougars
The eagerly awaited third game of the season between the 2 Truro sides saw the Jaguars make it 3 victories against their club mates .
Of the 3 games the 2 teams have produced this must go down as the best controlled and disciplined performance from the Jags . The 1st half saw the team play a 4-4-2 formation and then reverted back to a 3-5-2 formation in the second half .
From the start the Jags controlled the game . It took nearly 20 minutes before the Jags scored . No frustration ever crept into their game . Richie Rundle opened the scoring with Sam Gerken adding the best goal of the game after great work between Charlie Conway and James Daniel . H-T 2-0
Some tough tackling and deep penetrating runs from Tom Hardwick provided the supply for James Daniel to grab a brace of goals .4-0 The introduction of Alex Rowe in the second half , who's pace down the right caused the Cougars problems saw excellent crosses from Rowe for Rundle to grab his 2nd .5-0 The dangerous Rob Dunn who has been playing regulary for the club's 3rd team this season came on in the 2nd half and grabed a consolation goal for the Cougars , with a fine lob from the edge of the area .5-1
Rundle went on to complete his hat-trick with a delicate lob from 30 yards . 6-1
