not the best of performences and more goals should of been scored however goals from Rob Dunn (3), Alec Penrose, Christian Lett and Josh Richards made a good away trip and also promotion!! there was also time for sub goalkeeper adam brainbridge to save a penalty in the last mintues of the game.

WOOP WOOP!

Thank God for promotion  Reply with quote

Thank god you guys have been promoted out of this league. Hopefully you now won't have to play against the sort of malicious donkey who played for Constatine at the back today who could have easily broken James Daniel's leg in what was simply an attempt to take him out of the game. Shame on the ref too who had warned the same donkey 5 minutes earlier for a similar tackle, to only issue him with a yellow card.

There were 5 under 16 players in the team today. If they can't be protected by referees against these sort of thugs is it any wonder that players learn not to give the referee's the respect they crave?

Well done James, up until fat-boy took you out you were showing them the speed and talent that you have. I thought all the other 'kids' in the team also had good games. Lets hope we get a better standard of player and referree in a higher league. Congratulations to the whole team - lets see if you can go up as champions!

in all honesty there are a few players who will give you a kick in the lower leagues, but there are also some in DIV 1 as well
remember if they are under 16 that it is mens football and not boys football anymore and that they wont be wrapped in cotton wool by refs
looks like the cat will be making an emotional return to truro city next season but this time as an opposing player!
