Canterbury fairy tales
What is wrong with the Archbishop of Canterbury? No wonder so many people have abandoned the C of E since it's obviously gone all squishy and lost any sort of moral center.
Apparently the Right Rev said that some form of Islamic sharia law would be a good idea in Britain because the idea that one law to rule everybody is unjust?
To which I can only respond: What the **** are you talking about?!? Has this guy never heard of the Rule of Law? The idea that one set of laws is actually the only way to be fair? Now I know that "the law equally forbids the rich and the poor to sleep under bridges" but that sort of inequality is not what we're talking about here. He also went on to say sort of vague things about not wanting the violence and sexism of traditional sharia law -- again, what? One upholds the other, no?
I hope you don't mind an American saying so, but your Archbishop is off his beam.
The PC mandarins of the US have got nothing on some of your lot! _________________ UP to the South!

But at least he's got the Anglican Church talking and not ignoring the increasing Muslim population of this little island.
