Does anyone know any information about the players that have left in the last 2 years. Just wondering how the old heroes are getting on. _________________ "I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception"

Whats the latest on Jon Routledge (Bambi)?
Tom, Bambi is now at Bideford. He was on their bench for the Vase match against us (he may have even come on as a sub!) _________________ "I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception"

I can answer this one. Mark is now a painter and decorator in Plymouth. He has been working in the hotel where I work for a few months now.
He still plays the odd game for Argyle vets. but nothing major now in the form of league football. |

He was class Robin, about 4 foot 6 and would go through anything, didn't he help with maintaining the pitch when he was at Truro? _________________ YNWA JFT96 |

lee coxon is now playing for tavistock who havent been doing that well in the league but have beat the top teams and are on a good cup run, after watching them play falmouth and porthleven recently i can confirm that coxon looks to be having a good season with his pace and trickery making him a major player at this level and maybe city didint see the best of him last year. |

You won't know this one unless you are over 40 -
Eric Gilbert - ex City Goal Keeper - is now a regular at home matches - usually sits near the top of the Treyew Road Stand. Have spoken to him several times and he is enjoying watching City these days - he must be in his 70's now. |

Was Eric Gilbert a policeman? If so I remember him from when I was a boy living in Saltash. |

Yes I believe he was -
In those days it was just the Cornwall Constabulary [no Devon] so he could have been stationed anywhere in Cornwall during his career. |
