only 2 points off a play off place.
are they playing better since Holloway left, or is it such a poor division a few good results moves you up.
It seems everyone can beat everyone or lose any game,
they could get 6th place then fluke the play offs and be in the premiership. _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that dont.

Is it just the Championship thats close..??
Plymouth beat Barnsley 3 - 0
Barnsley beat Liverpool 2 - 1
Liverpool beat Inter Milan 2 - 0
On that form then Argyle should thrash Inter...!!

Its the hardest one to predict this season usually there are one or two teams that excel but this is still too close to call, Plymouth will be there or there abouts but I think they will just miss the playoff place by two points.

Another win today - 3 - 1 v Burnley and now in the play-off places.
Next season we could be looking forward to City in the Southern League, the Reserves in the SWP League and the occasional trip to Home Park [when City aren't playing] to watch a Premiership Match..!! |

Well after having a couple of bad results they go and beat the previous leaders Bristol City 2-1 at Ashton gate there back in the play off's and 9 points off automatic promotion.

Wins against Watford, Sheff Utd., Charlton and Bristol City away from home have been let down with losses against teams in the lower places. If only ----------- but Argyle still have an outside chance of a play off place. One bad defeat lets the others in.
Derby got there last year and although they have had a bad run at least they will benefit from parachute payments and the fans have seen some top teams at Pride Park. Got to be worth getting promoted for. |

I saw them agaisnt Sheffied United a few weeks ago when Argyle were defeated 0-1 at Home Park. I felt they deserved at least a point from that match, they had many chances but failed to take them. If they had scored half of there chances they would have won 3-1 or even 5-1. I enjoyed watching young Jaime Mackie and i think he is a fine prospect, Peter Halmosi is a class act and i was impressed by loanee Russel Anderson. However, i felt Lillian Nalis and Steven Maclean were poor and need to step up a gear if thier to keep thier places in the team.
I am going to see the Watford game this coming Saturday so i will hope for a good result. _________________ "I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception"

I thought that was a Scottish thing?
Anyway, I don't know squat about Plymouth except what I get through osmosis on these forums, but their run this season is quite infectious and I find myself hoping they win promotion (and then avoid a Derby County).
